Nothing official as yet, but American reports indicate Toyota is planning to unveil a replacement for the Supra sports car in Detroit.
It’s an obvious conclusion to reach given Honda’s return to production sports cars with the awesome all-new NSX.
The reports follow word in the ‘blogosphere’ which claimed to have origins within Toyota.
Of course we know a Supra replacement is on the mind of Toyota – the 2007 FT-HS concept was just such a car. And we know Akio Toyoda is pushing the ‘fun to drive’ mantra which lead to the creation of the 86 sports car and the Japanese giant’s much-improved styling across the range.
