Changes outside, inside and underneath for Toyota’s seven-seat Prius V hybrid – but prices remain the same ($34,490 for Prius V and $44,490 for Prius V i-Tech).
At the front we see new, slimmer headlights, gloss black lower trapezoidal grille, a new upper grille, vertical LED DRLs and a more pronounced Toyota badge which actually extends the forward line of the bonnet.
A new bumper with integrated diffuser and new-design lights highlight changes for the rear.
Inside the updated Toyota Prius V gains new trim, a new 4.2-inch colour TFT screen and upgraded audio systems with touch-screen displays. Lane Departure Alert (LDA) is added to the list of Prius V safety technologies.
And Toyota has improved the ride, handling and refinement of the Prius V thanks to revised dampers and bushes.
No changes under the bonnet with combination of 1.8-litre Atkinson cycle petrol engine and electric motor good for 100kW of power and fuel consumption of just 4.4l/100kms.
