Toyota really knows its customers and this is evidenced by a new HiLux ute model, specified and developed specifically for Australian tradies and miners.
Based on the HiLux 4x4 SR Double Cab variant, the new model represents the first paring of the cab-chassis body style, turbo-diesel engine, automatic transmission and SR grade.
So you get the Double Cab’s five person interior, 3,0-litre turbo-diesel power (126kW/360Nm), auto transmission and the customizable fitout of the can chassis.
The newcomer is priced at $43,740 which Toyota says is $1,500 less than a similarly specced pick-up model.
