Toyota Australia has launched ‘Toyota Certified Used Vehicles’ – an initiative to provide Toyota assurance for buyers of Toyota used vehicles.
Applicable to vehicles less than four tears old which have travelled less than 100,000kms, Toyota Certified Used Vehicles provides additional inspection (and a history report), warranty coverage and 12 months roadside assistance.
The history report comes from Carhistory and includes confirmation the vehicle has a clear title, confirms the odometer reading and also whether it may have suffered flood damage or been written-off by an insurer.
All vehicles branded as Toyota Certified Used Vehicles receive a 90-point inspection including mechanical and appearance reconditioning and hybrid vehicles the battery, control modules and hybrid transaxle are included.
And, if you purchase a Toyota Certified Used Vehicle, you receive a 12 months/50,000kms used car warranty valid at any Australian Toyota dealership.
Toyota says its used car initiative provides a buying experience like purchasing a new Toyota vehicle with the value of a used car.
“This is a smart alternative to traditional options because it gives consumers the peace of mind when buying a used vehicle that only a Toyota factory-backed certification program can offer,” explained Toyota’s sales and marketing chief Matthew Callachor.
