Get set for a radical new Toyota mid-year – the compact and boxy Rukus.
While full details have not been released, it seems the Rukus will follow the same concept as Kia’s SOUL – owners will be encouraged to individualize their vehicle with a multitude of available paint colours and wheel combinations.
Like the SOUL, Toyota’s Rukus is best defined as an ‘urban utility vehicle’ with styling that is definitely cutting-edge and functional.
“This is a car that’s designed to be different, with a boxy shape that has become iconic,” revealed Toyota Australia’s Marketing Manager Scott Thompson. “It will be loaded with great standard features, but we expect many owners to express their individuality by making their cars stand out from the pack.”
The Rukus seems certain to cause a ruckus when it hits Australian Toyota showrooms in a few months.
