Toyota has expanded its limited edition value range with the addition of the RAV4 Altitude.
Based on RAV’s all-wheel-drive four-cylinder CV model, the Altitude gains reverse parking sonar sensors, 17-inch alloy wheels, roof rails and rear privacy glass. Inside there is a six-CD audio unit with LCD display, USB and Bluetooth connectivity and audio streaming plus upgraded steering wheel and gear lever.
All-up Toyota says the limited edition Altitude scores $1700 worth of extras but - priced from $32,490 (manual) - is only $500 more than the standard RAV4 CV.
A favourite with families and weekend adventurers, the RAV4 comes standard with vehicle stability control, traction control, anti-lock brakes and Hill-start Assist Control, Automatic models also feature Downhill Assist Control.
Only 800 RAV4 Altitude models will be available between now and September.
