Toyota – Australia’s number one best-selling automotive brand – has already beaten 200,000 sales in 2010.
In fact, since records began, Toyota is the only brand to sell a ‘double ton’ in Australia.
“We expect the official sales results in early January to confirm Toyota as the market leader for the 14th time in the past 20 years, including the past eight in a row,” revealed Toyota’s sales and marketing boss, David Buttner.
The local industry has bounced back from the global financial crisis with expectations the 2010 total will top 1,000,000 sales and probably be the second highest on record.
