Toyota has moved swiftly to ensure the complex engineering of its upcoming Hybrid Camry will not result in servicing costs greater than a petrol-powered model.

Under the company's 'Toyota Service Advantage' Hybrid Camry owners' service costs will be capped at $130 for up to four standard scheduled services during the first three years or 60,000kms.

'Hybrid Camry owners pay one flat price - $130 - for a comprehensive service, which includes all parts, labour and fluids,' explained Desmond Lew, Toyota's Divisional manager for parts, service and accessories. 'Our customers know up-front the cost of each service and enjoy the confidence of picking up their serviced vehicles without incurring unexpected costs.'

Hybrid Camry owners will also enjoy the peace-of-mind provided by an eight-year warranty for the Hybrid HV battery.
