British brands Jaguar and Range Rover are celebrating after scoring two awards from readers of the prestigious German magazine ‘Auto Motor Und Sport’.
The Jaguar XF took out the ‘Upper Middle-Sized Imports’ category for the fourth consecutive year, while the Range Rover Evoque claimed the ‘Offroad Import’ award.
In fact the results weren’t even close – the Jaguar and Land Rover products blitzing the star-studded field. The Jaguar XF secured 45.8 per cent of the vote in its class while the range Rover Evoque garnered 20.7 per cent.
Behind the Evoque, the next four places in the ‘Offroad Import’ category were also captured by Land Rover products – Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, Defender and Discovery.
The Auto Motor Und Sport Best Cars awards are judges in 10 categories and this year more than 300 models were considered by 116,000 voters in 16 countries.
