The all-new third generation Suzuki Swift small car has been unveiled in Europe.
Slightly larger than the current model, European Suzuki Swift Swift buyers can choose from either a 1.3-litre diesel engine or a new 1.2-litre petrol.
Visually, the newcomer is evolutionary with some extra curves included in its modern looks while maintaining the traditional Suzuki Swift Swift styling cues.
As well as the new looks and engine, Suzuki says the latest Swift delivers more safety and improved driving dynamics.
Australian buyers will see Suzuki’s new small car in the first half of 2011.
“We are very excited about the preliminary release of the new car, but we are still some way off finalizing the Australian version of the next Swift,” explained Suzuki Australian General Manager, Tony Devers. “The new Swift doesn’t go on sale here until the first half of next year, so we still have some development time to work through.”
