Ahead of international sales from next month, Suzuki used the Frankfurt Motor Show to debut its new Swift Sport model.
Performance is up over the previous Suzuki Swift Sport with 100kW at 6900rpm and 160Nm at 4400rpm. New Suzuki Swift Sport also gains a six-speed manual transmission (replacing the current model’s five-speeder).
Suzuki Swift Sport gains a unique suspension tune with stiffer springs and added rebound plus extra rigidity for toe and camber settings

On the outside, new Suzuki Swift Sport is immediately identified by its large front grille and finned fog-light bezels as well as new HID headlights with a metallic grey coating plus new rear lights. Wheels are a unique 17-inch alloy which are lighter than the previous model.
Inside are unique trim materials, new design sports seats and a five-dial instrument cluster.
Suzuki Australia is yet to reveal local plans for the Swift Sport.
