Unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show, Subaru’s new Impreza XV hatch should be on-sale locally by mid-year.
Powered by the familiar 2.0-litre, four-cylinder ‘Boxer’ engine, the newcomer features unique trim, wheel arch extensions, roof rails and grille.
Subaru says the XV will bring younger buyers back to the brand because it’s about fun with safety.
“The current generation Impreza is the best seller of any to date and we’re confident that Impreza XV will add to that success, given the earlier achievements of recreation-themed versions of the car,” explained Subaru’s Australian Managing Director, Nick Senior.
