Only for sale in Brazil, the handsome Hyundai HB20X crossover, launched today at the Sao Paulo International Motor Show does provide another chapter in the Korean giant’s styling resurgence.
Powered by Hyundai’s 1.6-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine, the HB20X is the second HB (‘Hyundai Brazil’) model, following the earlier launch of the HB20 hatchback. A sedan version is due early next year.
The HB models are being produced at Hyundai’s new plant in Piracicaba, Brazil.
Hyundai’s HB20X is a crossover featuring the corporate hexagonal grille and furthers the ‘fluidic sculpture’ design language familiar in the Australian market.
High ground clearance and 15-inch alloy wheels are designed for Brazil’s often poor roads.
