SsangYong has wheeled-out the updated Korando SUV with the two-model (entry level ‘S’ front-wheel-drive or range-topping ‘SX’ all-wheel-drive) range starting at $24,990 driveaway.
That’s more coin than before but the 2014 SsangYong Korando has dropped the manual transmission and is now exclusively a six-speed automatic.
Styling changes see a new front bumper plus new-design lights front and rear. In addition, the entry-level S petrol model steps-up to 17-inch wheels.
Inside, both models are now equipped with leather trim however the range-topping SX scores heated seats and climate control air-conditioning amongst its extras.
Power comes from either a 110kW/197Nm 2.0-litre petrol engine or a 129kW/360Nm 2.0-litre turbo-diesel.
