SsangYong’s handy Korando compact SUV has been revealed in facelifted form ahead of its global debut in a couple of weeks at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
SsangYong says as well as the visual changes (revised front and rear) and a new interior, the updated Korando will deliver enhanced refinement thanks to a sturdier sub-frame and revised engine mounts.
Current SsangYong Korando owners will immediately notice the new model’s much-improved interior. As well as the new entertainment system screen, air-vents and controls, the photos show enhanced trim, woodgrain and even red leather seats.
No changes under the bonnet with 2.0-litre petrol or diesel engines but we’re told to expect fuel consumption savings.
SsangYong Australia will launch the updated Korando early next year and local details will be revealed then.
