Hyundai’s updated Santa Fe SUV lineup gains a fresh look, new technologies and a good-lookingnew range-topper – the sporty SR model.

Santa Fe SR MY15

Arriving early next year, the Hyundai Santa Fe SR boasts performance extras which are more than skin-deep.

Joining the SR versions of the Veloster, i30 and Accent to provide some valuable performance models for the Korean giant, the Santa Fe SR adds a body kit, Brembo brakes, H&R performance springs and black 19-inch OZ Racing wheels fitted with Michelin Latitude Tour tyres.

Across the range, the 2015MY Hyundai Santa Fe is identified by a darker chrome front grille and new DRLs and cornering lights.

Extra model-specific features include Smart Parking Assist System, Lane Departure Warning System, hands-free tailgate, ventilated front seats and a panoramic sunroof.

Underneath Hyundai fitted new front wheel bearings, redesigned front knuckles and revised suspension bushings.

In turn, this enabled Hyundai’s Australian development engineers to further tune local suspension calibration for springs and dampers.

Steering too has been improved via fitment of a new steering gearbox and faster 32-bit compture processing for the motor-driven power steering system.
