Volkswagen’s Czech republic brand Skoda has released some images of its ‘VisionS’ concept which will debut next month at the Geneva Motor Show.
As you can see, this is history in the making – Skoda’s first full-size SUV.
Skoda says the VisionS measures 4,700mm in length and will be presented with three rows of two seats.
So it’s likely any production version would have lineage to the Volkswagen Touareg and Audi Q7.
We like the front-end with the hallmark Skoda grille in large format and blending with the sharp LED headlights while the rear sees the characteristic Skoda ‘C’ arm rear three-quarters, a large spoiler, tapered bodywork and handsome high-mounted light clusters.
And the side view sees some straight lines for the wheelarches topped by a prominent ‘tornado’ line which runs the full length front-to-rear.
An intriguing feature is the sharply sloping roofline (which is not the case on Touareg or Q7).
Full details in Geneva next month.
