To help it pick up extra sales going forward, Renault Australia will now be offering the Megane with keener priced drive away packages across the 2017 range, giving more value to potential buyers swayed by the stylish French small car, available in either hatch, wagon, or sedan body style.
Rather recently, Renault introduced those latter body styles, giving the Australian market more variety depending on their needs and preferences along with the introduction of their Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) which included autonomous emergency braking (AEB), lane departure warning, and automatic high/low beam headlights. Following that, the hatch was also updated to include those new features.
As reported previously, the GT-Line and GT received these ADAS functions as standard along with the additional Distance Warning, Adaptive Cruise Control, and the 8.7-inch portrait-oriented R-LINK 2 infotainment system.
The new prices should make the Megane more popular with buyers who would’ve otherwise chosen a Hyundai i30 or competitors such as the Toyota Corolla, Ford Focus, Volkswagen Golf, and Peugeot 308 - which it frankly deserves to be.

“Each and every model combines beautiful styling, beautiful technology and beautiful performance in a family that offers three different body styles. The high levels of specification that include a number of active safety features, ensure the Megane range is very well equipped to take the sales fight directly to its European rivals in the small segment.”
