Renault Australia has confirmed the racy Megane R.S.275 Trophy is on the way to Australia after its June launch in France.
Big news under the bonnet with the turbocharged 2.0-litre, four-cylinder engine now good for 205kW (195kW in the previous Renault Megane RS265).
Torque remains unchanged at 360Nm.
All of this comes with the updated looks of the current Renault Megane. Numbered door sills highlight the exclusivity of this limited edition model.
Underneath is the ‘Cup’ chassis with optional adjustable Ohlins dampers, Michelin tyres (Pilot Sport Cup 2 rubber available for track use) and a new titanium exhaust system from Akrapovic with a carbon tailpipe.
Also on the options list are 19-inch black Speedline Turini wheels like those used in the Megane Cup racing series
Up-front there is an F1-style front aero blade in ‘Platine Grey’.
Inside are leather and Alcantara Recaro seats and a sporty Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel – all with red contrast stitching.
