Renault Australia has confirmed a local price of $52,990 for the piping-hot, new Megane RS 275 Trophy.
The hot, hot hatch arrives with a more powerful 202kW/360Nm 2.0-litre engine and the updated fresh look of the latest Megane range.
Renault Sport tweaked the engine for the performance gains and specialist exhaust manufacturer Akrapovic supplies a lightweight titanium exhaust with the racy note we love in RS Meganes.
Underneath is a ‘Cup’ chassis with a limited slip differential.
Exterior styling sees a platinum-grey F1-type front aero blade and some sporty graphics.
Inside are leather and Alcantara Recaro sports seats with contrast red stitching and an Alcantara-wrapped sports steering wheel.
Just 100 examples of the Renault Megane RS 275 Trophy have been allocated to Australia – in a choice of two colours (‘Pearl White’ or ‘Liquid Yellow’).
