F1 Grand Prix fans will have their heartbeats racing just looking at the background of this pic – the fabled Monaco Grand Prix circuit bathed in sunshine.
Of course Renault has been in F1 since its inception 115 years ago and today is still powering some of the F1 field (including the reigning champions Red Bull) - so, perhaps only rivalled by Ferrari, no other brand has the right to badge pone of their cars ‘Monaco GP’.
Tah-dah! We have the limited edition Renault Clio RS Monaco GP which is now on-sale in Australia priced at $38,290.
Only available in ‘Pearl White’ body colour with a contrasting ‘Diamond Black’ roof, the Monaco GP special edition Renault Clio RS is based on the racy ‘Cup’ chassis and runs 18-inch Radicale alloy wheels.
Other enhancements include gloss black for the front blade, rear diffuser, side protective strips, door handles and mirrors.
Inside is a sporty black/grey colour scheme highlighted by ‘Riviera Carbon’ leather seats and ‘Technique Grey’ seat belts.
There’s also tinted side glass, heated front seats, R-Link infotainment and the RS Monitor 2.0 telemetry system.
Power comes from Renault’s 147kW turbocharged 1.6-litre petro engine which drives the front wheels via a six-speed dual-clutch transmission.
