Showing a cheeky sense of humour, Renault Australia chose Valentines’ Day to announce its Angel & Demon limited edition Renault Clio R.S.
Based on the rip-snorting Clio R.S. Cup chassis with 150kW of 2.0-litre grunt under the bonnet, the limited edition Angel & Demon version scores leather trim inside for the Recaro sports seats and a unique metal gear lever.
On the outside, look for two new paint colours – ‘Matt Toro Red’ or ‘Matt Hologramme Grey’. Accentuating the Angel & Demon theme, the limited edition Renault Clio R.S. runs dark tinted rear glass plus gloss black for the roof, rear spoiler, rear diffuser, door handles, exterior mirrors and front ‘blade’ spoiler.
Wheels are gloss black 18-inch alloys and – for the first time for local Renaults – are shod with Bridgestone RE050A tyres.
On the options list is an Angel & Demon tattoo which can be fitted to the left side of the rear quarter window pillar.
Renault Australia has secured 40 of the limited edition Angel & Demon Clio R.S., they’re stickered at $39,990 and available from local dealers starting next month.
