Australia’s already buoyant hot-hatch market gets a further boost in December with news Renault will launch the all-new Clio R.S. 200 EDC in December with a super-sharp starting price of $28,790. Renault Australia had been expecting the racy Clio early in 2014.
The ‘200’ stands for 200 horsepower (around 150kW) from the turbocharged 1.6-litre engine and the ‘EDC’ stands for dual-clutch transmission.
And further good news from Renault Australia is the red-hot Clio R.S. will be offered with both ‘Cup’ and ‘Sport’ chassis (the latter derivative making a return after two years).
