Renault has boosted its Koleos mid-size SUV range with the addition of a top specification diesel model. Following normal Renault protocols, that range-topper is called the Privilege model (Koleos petrol AWD already has a Privilege variant).
Listed at $45,490, the Renault Koleos diesel can be purchased under Renault Australia’s zero per-cent finance program (although that program is scheduled to end on 16 December 2012).
Koleos is one of our favourite Renault models – we like the contemporary looks inside and and out, we like its obvious quality and we look its family-friendly space/practicality.
The new range-topping Koleos Privilege is powered by Renault’s 110kW/320Nm 2.0-litre dCi turbo-diesel engine driving all four wheels via a six-speed automatic transmission. Koleos is impressively refined on the road and fuel consumption is rated at 7.6l/100kms (combined cycle).
Specifications are impressive with inclusions such as integrated satellite navigation, a panoramic glass roof, bi-xenon headlights, 18-inch alloy wheels, hill start-assist and hill descent control.
Renault Koleos has deservedly been part of the sales surge being enjoyed by down-sized SUVs in Australia – the stylish French vehicle boasting growth this year of 90 per-cent.
“The Koleos Privilege Diesel makes a welcome addition to the Koleos family,” explained Renault Australia chief Justin Hocevar. “Our customers have been asking for a top specification diesel and we are delighted to be able to launch one.”
