Testing of the high-performance Range Rover SVR has wrapped at Germany’s Nurburgring circuit with the supercharged V8 luxury SUV setting a best time of 8 mins 14 seconds.
As well as enhanced suspension tune, the SVR enjoys a 404kW version of Range Rover’s supercharged 5.0-litre V8 engine – that’s 29kW up on the regular Range Rover Sport.
Drive comes via a fascinating twin-speed transfer case with a choice of high and low gear ratios.
And despite its high performance capabilities, the Range Rover Sport SVR – a product of the company’s new Special Vehicle Operations – will still provide the same 850mm wading depth and off-road prowess as the regular Range Rover Sport.
