In the U.K., £180,000 ($333,000) represents the most expensive Range Rover model so far.
But when you hear it’s a limited edition model (less than 15 per year) and it’s made by Land Rover Special Vehicle Operations in conjunction with famed timber gunstock manufacturer Holland & Holland…well it starts to make sense.
Range Rover and Holland & Holland are both Royal Warrant-holding luxury marques and amongst the many highlights of the Holland & Holland Range Rover is a leather-trimmed aluminium cabinet in the cargo area – its espresso Alcantara trimmed interior sized precisely to safely transport a pair of Holland & Holland rifles.
There’s also an aluminium/carbon fibre seat which slides from under the cargo area for picnics, rifle maintenance or changing boots.
Inside is timber sourced from a single piece of French walnut (to ensure every veneer is perfectly matched) and soft tan espresso leather hide seats embroidered with the Holland & Holland logo.
The Holland & Holland Range Rover is based on the Autobiography Black model and features the long wheelbase ‘Executive’ set-up.
And…erm…this would be the world’s best luxury SUV – until, we suspect, the Bentley SUV arrives sometime next year.
