Range Rover’s magnificent all-new compact SUV, the Evoque, goes on sale locally in November priced from $53,395.
The Range Rover Evoque will be sold in Australia in both coupe and five-door variants in three model grades – Pure, Dynamic and Prestige. The options list is staggering and includes seven alloy wheel designs, 16 interior colours and a full-size panoramic glass roof.
Power comes from two updated versions of Land Rover’s 2.2-litre, four-cylinder turbo-diesel (as fitted to the Freelander 2) – 110kW and 140kW – and a 177kW, 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine.
Range Rover calls the three different Evoque model grades ‘Design Themes’ and each brings different exterior style and interior appointments.
Pure models adopt a dark-finish grille and side fender blades, 17-inch alloy wheels, Leather/Dinamica seats and an eight-speaker audio system with a five-inch colour screen.
Prestige versions gain bright exterior trim, 19-inch alloy wheels, Oxford leather/real wood interior, xenon headlights, interior mood lighting and an 11-speaker, 380W Meridian audio system.
Dynamic is the sports version with a body kit, 19-inch alloy wheels, aluminium trim and bold interior colours.
