Although it’s not quite on sale, the international motoring press have tested the Range Rover Evoque and Britain’s Auto Express has named the game-changing compact SUV ‘Car Of The Year 2011’ and ‘Best Compact SUV’.
In particular, Auto Express – Britain’s top-selling motoring magazine – praised the range Rover Evoque’s ‘mould breaking’ looks and driving dynamics.
“The Evoque puts the hugely desirable Range Rover brand within the reach of compact executive cars buyers for the very first time. The fact that it looks and drives the way it does serves only to underline its premium appeal,” explained Auto Express Acting Editor Graham Hope.
Due in Australia and priced from $53,395, the all-new Range Rover Evoque already has keen customer knocking down the doors of local dealers.
In further good news for Land Rover at the Auto Express awards, for the second consecutive year, the Land Rover Discovery 4 was named the ‘Best Large SUV’
