Suzuki’s potent-looking Swift S Concept will feature at the Australian International Motor Show (Melbourne) 1-10 July.
The Swift S Concept, based on the all-new Swift, is a direct development of Suzuki’s Junior World Rally Championship racers and rekindles memories of the high performance Swift GTi models.
However while the early Suzuki Swift GTis were somewhat austere, the Swift S Concept is totally 2011 with leather Recaro sports seats, a carbon-fibre center console, alloy pedals, leather-wrapped sports steering wheels and even chrome highlights on the instruments.
Externally, there are massive 18-inch alloy wheels, aero front and rear bumpers and a roof spoiler from Suzuki’s rally cars.
With specially-developed sports suspension, the Suzuki Swift S Concept hugs the ground and Suzuki has hinted it could point to an upcoming production model.
