Ford’s Fiesta is a Car Showroom favourite and price cuts of up to $1500 just announced make the German-created compact hatchback even more appealing.
Making the Fiesta even better value for budget-restricted buers, Ford has also boosted the standard equipment in the entry-level CL model with the inclusion of extra airbags – side curtain/thorax and drivers’ knee airbag. While standard in Ford Fiesta LX and Zetec models, these were previously a $600 ‘Safety Pack’ option on the CL.
Incidentally those safety changes mean the entire Ford Fiesta range now achieves the maximum five-star ANCAP safety rating and so the entire Ford Australia passenger car range is five-star.
The revised Ford Fiesta range looks like this:
CL petrol manual $15,490 (-$1500)
CL petrol automatic $17,490 (-$1500)
LX petrol manual $17,790 (-$1200)
LX petrol automatic $19,790 (-$1200)
LX diesel manual $20,290 (-$1200)
Zetec petrol manual $20,490 (-$500)
Zetec petrol automatic $22,490 (-$500)
Zetec diesel manual $22,990 (-$500)
