Running an upgraded 4.8-litre V8 engine good for 320kW/520Nm, Porsche says the GTS, while, not matching the performance of its turbocharged siblings, is the ‘purest’ member of its GTS family. An intriguing push-button ‘Sound Symposer’ directs intake noise from the engine so driver and passenger can hear the V8 at work.

The Porsche Panamera GTS drives all four wheels via the PDK seven-speed transmission.
