One month out from its global debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show, Porsche has used its Facebook page to deliberately leak some images of virtually undisguised versions of the upcoming all-new Macan compact SUV.
As we’ve gleaned from earlier leaked pics, in terms of exterior style, the Macan really is a scaled-down version of the larger Porsche Cayenne – note the headlights, tail-lights and muscly shoulder lines.
Word is the two-model Porsche Macan lineup will see the entry-level ‘S’ powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.0-litre V6 petrol engine while the upscale ‘Turbo’ gets the twin-turbocharged 3.6-litre V6.
We’ll have to wait until the LA Show to get the full story (including a rumoured turbo-diesel variant) – unless Porsche decides to leak a few more details before then.
