The all-new Porsche 911 Carrera Cabriolet will arrive early next year in both standard and ‘S’ models.
Sharing the same aluminium-steel body of the all-new Carrera, Porsche says with its roof in place, the new Cabriolet retains the hallmark Carrera lines.
New technology, including the use of magnesium in the hood frame ensures the new Cabriolet – like the rest of the Carrera lineup – is lighter than its predecessor.
Underneath, the Cabriolet runs the same wider front track, longer wheelbase and electro-mechanical power steering which debuted in the all-new Porsche Carrera.
The all-new Porsche Carrera Cabriolet is powered by the 257kW 3.4-litre engine while the ‘S’ version gains the 294kW 3.8-litre powerplant. Both drive through Porsche’s seven-speed manual or PDK automatic.
