Porsche Australia and the NSW Police Force have extended their community engagement partnership, the partnership which started 12 months ago has been extended by additional 12 months.
Porsche Australia have loaned the NSW Police Force the latest Panamera 4S, featuring a twin turbocharged 3.0-litre V6 engine and all-wheel drive.
NSW Police Force ran a competition on Facebook to ‘Design a Police Porsche‘ it received more than 40,000 hits and 200 entries from around the country.
“The Porsche police car turns heads and generates fascination, which is exactly what it is designed to do so it can allow us to begin dialogue with the community and discuss issues surrounding community welfare,” says NSW Police Force Superintendent Alan Sicard.
“We have a strong presence on social media and to date we’ve had some 700,000 hits on our facebook page directly related to the Porsche”.
