Due on-sale within weeks, the 508 continues Peugeot’s styling renaissance and is competitively priced from $36,990 (sedan) and $42,490 (Touring).

Inside the spacious interior (dimensionally similar to the Peugeot 607) continues the elegance theme with excellent design and quality materials. There is also extensive kit including a colour heads-up display, incorporating some directional arrows from the satellite navigation.
Boot capacity for the Peugeot 508 sedan is 497-litres with the rear seat in-place or 1,533-litres with the seats folded.
Under the bonnet, the Peugeot 508 employs Peugeot’s 115kW/240Nm, turbocharged 1.6-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine and120kW/340Nm, 2.0-litre, four-cylinder turbo-diesel. The 508 GT sedan scores a unique powerplant – Peugeot’s new 150kW/450Nm, 2.2-litre turbo-diesel.
Within the next 12 months, Peugeot will roll-out further engine technology including updated e-HDI and Hybrid4.
Underneath, the Peugeot 508 delivers two suspension set-ups – a regular McPherson strut design for sedan and wagon plus an aluminium dual wishbone design for the GT.
Equipment and driver aides are right on the money too, including an innovative camera-based parking assistance system.
