French marque Peugeot have revealed special editions of their popular 3008 & 5008 SUVs, made to commemorate the factory in which they’re built and to offer a bit more value for customers looking to bring home a French SUV. Dubbed the ‘Crossway Editions,’ the limited-run SUVs will ask for a $2500 premium over the Allure models on which they’re based, but offer much in return.

In fact, they offer $3700 worth of kit in return for the $43,490 commanded by the 3008 Crossway, and the $46,990 for the 5008 Crossway, compared to the $40,990 and $44,490 for the 3008 Allure & 5008 Allure respectively. Just 60 3008s and 40 5008s will be made in Crossway spec, so if you feel you want one of these by the end of this article, you’d best run out and grab one.

Crossway models will be marked out by their diamond-black roofs, chrome packs, and Crossway packs that include prominent badging and motifs on the B-pillar that include a four-point compass with coordinates that pay homage to the geographic location of the factory. Additionally, the cars feature a 10-speaker, 12-way, 515W Focal audio system which includes four 35mm inverted tweeters, four 165mm mid-range woofers, an 80mm bespoke Polyglass membrane centre speaker, and a 200mm woofer with Focal’s patented PowerFlower technology.

The cabins of the Crossway cars will feature full Alcantara trim with contrasting blue stitching on the seats, armrests, door trims, and steering wheel, while the 5008 Crossway gets branded ‘Crossway’ floor mats.

The Crossway Editions can be had in Emerald Green, Artense Grey, Platinum Silver or Gust Blue, and feature 18-inch alloy wheels an untouched mechanicals, so the engine bay continues to house a 121kW 1.6-litre turbo-four petrol mill with a 6-speed automatic in the middle. Impressive safety technology also continues on as standard, and all Crossway cars are covered by Peugeot’s 5-year/unlimited-mileage warranty.
