File this one under ‘O’ for “Oh, yes!” – Audi’s stunning RS 6 Avant is a confirmed starter for Australia with a launch date of November this year.
Car Showroom has just driven the Audi RS 4 Avant and we’re still boring our friends raving about it (watch for our review story shortly) - so we’ve got some idea about the potential of the slightly larger 412kW/700Nm RS 6 Avant which Audi Australia says will likely be priced around $230,000.
For starters, the Audi RS 6 Avant covers zero to 100km/h in just 3.9 seconds.
And how are these for some impressive specs: adaptive air suspension, digital TV + navigation plus, 20-inch alloy wheels, 360-degree camera, carbon inlays, optional Dynamic Ride Control and a matt Quattro styling package.
The previous generation Audi RS 6 Avant attracted glowing praise and around 65 were sold in Australia between 2008 and 2010.
