Nissan’s famous ‘Sunny’ name is on the comeback trail with an all-new model just released at the Guangzhou (China) International Automobile Exhibition.
The latest Sunny will be produced at the Dongfeng Nissan Huada Plant in Guangzhou, initially for the Chinese market.
Nissan says the Sunny, a modern-looking, mid-size, four-door sedan will be powered by the trusty HR15DE, 1.5-litre, four-cylinder engine driving the front wheels via the latest generation Xtronic CVT automatic transmission.
The new Sunny rides on the usual MacPherson strut/Torsion Beam rear suspension.
Look for the Nissan Sunny (wearing a different badge) to be launched in Australia next year.
