Most of us have suffered from it – aching lower body parts during those long stints in a car. Most of us suffer that – plus agitated children in the back seat - every Christmas holiday road trip.
Well Nissan engineers are onto it and are developing ‘fatigue-free seats’.
The Japanese giant has tapped into research from the Yamazaki Laboratory at Keio University to develop the ‘Neutral Posture Concept’ to provide continuous support from the pelvis to the chest, working to reduce muscular and spinal loads and improve blood flow – thus reducing fatigue suffered when seated in a car.
