Nissan’s 2010 Series 3 Tiida range has been launched boasting extra safety and luxury features and better vale-for-money.
Entry level ST model now has standard curtain airbags, cruise control and power windows, Ti versions secure standard leather seats, 16-inch alloy wheels and climate control air-conditioning while Ti hatch gains a sunroof as standard.
Prices have dropped by $1,000 to $3,00 across the range with ST now starting at $17,990 and Ti at $21,990.
Externally, new larger bumpers extend the length of Tiida hatch by 45mm and the sedan by 30mm. Hatch models also get a new tail-light design and Ti versions feature body-coloured side sills.
Inside, Ti gains a new metallic look for the dashboard and a sportier meter which includes a fuel economy gauge.
Combine those extra features and significantly reduced prices with Tiida’s handy interior space and performance from the 93 kW, 1.8-litre four-cylinder engine (now Euro 4 compliant) and the result is a much better all-round package from Nissan.
