This is the funky Nissan Sway hatchback unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show.
It comes as no surprise the hip-looking newcomer comes from the same styling team responsible for the Juke and Qashqai.
Only a concept at this stage, Nissan says the Sway tests the water for future Nissan hatchback designs.
With some cues from the Lannia concept car from last year’s Beijing Auto Show, the Nissan Sway is highlighted by a new V-motion grille, floating roof, boomerang-shaped lights and a standout kicked-up C-pillar.
There’s certainly some complexity about the character lines running from the bonnet, along the sides and rising through the rear doors all the way to the LED tail-lights – it looks brilliant we reckon.
That may be difficult in a production version as will the lack of central B-pillars.
Inside the Nissan Sway is inspired by the IDx concept car from the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show with a functional look and wing-shaped dashboard.
