Nissan will use the Tokyo Motor Show next month to unveil the latest version of its PIVO EV concept – called PIVO 3.
A zero-emissions city commuter car, Nissan says that unlike the previous PIVO concepts, PIVO 3 is close to a final version of what the company thinks future urban transport should be.
Some features are truly remarkable and thought-provoking. For example AVP (Automated Valet Parking) where the PIVO 3 identifies its parking bay, automatically parks and also plugs in to its unique battery re-charging station.
Measuring just 3.0-metres in length, the Nissan PIVO 3 seats three people in a 1+2 layout and can execute a y-turn in a width of just 2.0-metres. The compact dimensions are aided by the power source – in-wheel electric motors.
