Nissan U.K. has confirmed a limited production run of its rip-snorting Juke-R – a blend of the Juke crossover and GT-R.
The 3.8-litre V6 Juke-R delivers 406kW of power – that’s more than the standard Nissan GT-R! – and the Japanese giant is already holding three orders, including two from a high-profil Dubai-based customer.
Nissan will take orders during the next four weeks before production start-up and will then build Juke-Rs on-demand. While the Nissan Juke-R prototype used a 2010 model GT-R running gear, the production versions will use the latest 2012 model.
“With such a strong reaction, and with three genuine offers on the table, we decided we had to make the car a reality. We can’t let down enthusiasts who are keen to add to their collection of cars. The Juke-R has become something of a phenomenon and I’m enormously proud of the impact it has had. There will be more news to come on Juke later this year,” revealed Nissan U.K.’s Juke product manager Gareth Dunsmore.
