CarShowroom.com.au is currently in Los Angeles, California, but in a new twist, just down the road, Audi used the world’s largest annual consumer electronics show in Las Vegas – to preview the interior of the all-new TT Coupe.
The thinking is the all-new TT – due this year – runs a new generation of electronics and connectivity features which Audi reckons set new global standards.
All-new from the ground-up, the upcoming Audi TT features a low-set instrument panel which looks like iot came straight from the world of aviation. Another highlight is the air-conditioning controls which are set right within the actual air-vents.
Up-front is a massive 12.3-inch colour TFT screen with brilliant 3D graphics. Just like the latest jets, the driver switches between displays – in Audi’s cae for information (speedometer etc) and infotaintment.
Another highlight is the latest version of Audi’s superb flat-bottom multi-function steering wheel.
Centre console is the MMI terminal with a second unit mounted alongside the steering wheel.
More mundane, but no less significant for sporty drivers are new-design seats with even bolder bolstering for improved support.
