Ford’s new Territory lineup has been revealed at the Melbourne Motor Show ahead of its April launch.
Featuring revised exteriors and interiors, extra equipment and a changed model range, the Australian designed and built Territory is a ‘must-succeed’ vehicle for Ford Australia. With some 86,000 Territories already sold, the trend is looking encouraging.
Code-named the SY Territory MkII, the new range includes TX, TS and Ghia models in rear-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive and the Ghia Turbo (all-wheel-drive only).
Most noticeable from the outside is the new front-end with an all-new bonnet, front bumper, grille and headlights. At the rear, there are new tail-lights plus body-coloured bumpers, door handles and exterior mirrors.
Ghia and Ghia Turbo models gain side-mirror turn indicators, side-steps and privacy glass.
TX models now get alloy wheels while new design alloy wheels feature across the range.
Inside are new materials and finishes with TS and Ghia models now available with a no-cost option of the elegantly-toned Cashmere interior.
Priced from $39,490 Territory remains one of the greatest achievements of Ford Australia, five years after it first went on sale.
