Although not for Australia, there is good news for global BMW owners with the Apps option and Mini owners with Mini Connected fitted – from 7 August you can select the Stitcher SmartRadio app with over 10,000 radio shows beamed to your vehicle.
That means on-demand news, entertainment, sports and talk radio streamed direct to your car via your iPhone’s Stitcher SmartRadio app.
And a function called ‘Smart Station’ recommends other program you may enjoy – based on personal preferences gleaned from your existing selections.
BMW says by downloading the free app, owners can download the same services to their car which they use on their smartphone.
Stitcher SmartRadio already has over seven million downloads and has been named a PC World ‘Best App Of 2012’ and an Apple ‘Top 5 News App’.
