Swedish car maker Koenigsegg have their sights set on making the worlds fastest car with the Koenigsegg One:1, hoping to snag the title from the Bugatti Veyron SuperSport and Hennessey Venom. The One:1 is named after it's power to weight ratio of 1360PS (1000kW) against the car’s weight of 1360 kilograms.
Power comes from a 5.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine that produces a massive 1371Nm of torque to go with 1360 horsepower/1000kW.
With no official figures relased just yet the rumours are that the Koenigsegg One:1 has a reported top speed of 439km/h — that beats the Bugatti Veyron SuperSport world record of 431km/h. The Koenigsegg One:1 is set to go from 0 to 400km/h in under 20 seconds.
The Inside of the Koenigsegg One:1 is almost pure race car with the racing style bucket seats and an in-car screen that also doubles as a GPS system, infotainment system. Another neat features is the “Predictive Active Track Mode” which is a function that automatically sets the car to track mode, when the GPS system recognises you have entered a race track.
No pricing has been set but lets guess your not getting any change out of a few million dollars. Worst of all only six of the Koenigsegg One:1 will be made and four have already been bought in China!
