These are the first pictures of the Ferrari FF – Maranello’s first all-wheel-drive four-seater.
The V12-powered Ferrari FF is aimed squarely at rivals like the Aston Martin Rapide and Porsche Panamera – supercars for families.
As well as its four-person seating capacity, the Ferrari FF boasts luggage space from 450-litres – 800-litres making it the most practical Ferrari of all time.
Ferrari says its ‘4RM’ all-wheel-drive system weighs-in 50 per cent lighter than conventional 4WD systems and contributes to the expected perfect weight distribution of the Ferrari FF – 53 per cent over the rear axle.
Under the bonnet, the Ferrari FF’s 6.2-litre V12 delivers 420kW/683Nm and drives via transaxle and Ferrari F1 dual-clutch transmission. Zero to 100km/h clicks by in just 3.7 seconds.
The Ferrari FF makes its world debut in March at the Geneva Motor Show and is scheduled for Australian launch in 2012.
