The updated Range Rover Sport range is now available for order and includes a new entry-level TDV6 S model priced at $92,600.
Power comes from the 190kW/600Nm 3.0-litre V6 turbo-diesel and standard specifications include air suspension, hard-disk satellite navigation 19-inch alloy wheels, 250W eight-speaker audio and a rear-view camera with trailer hitch function.
The other headline-grabber is the Range Rover Sport Hybrid which is available in HSE grade at $146,900 and upscale Autobiography at $165,300.
Range Rover says the newcomer has been engineered from the start as a hybrid and employs the 215kW 3.0-litre diesel with a 35kW/175Nm electric motor sandwiched between the engine and the eight-speed automatic transmission.
A driver-selectable EV mode enables electric-only running.
Other updates see SE models score $6,860 worth of extras including powered seats, front parking aid, auto-diming external mirrors and automatic Xenon headlights.
HSE and HSE Dynamic versions also benefit, to the tune of $6,470 with inclusions such as powered seats, the 12.3-inch TFT Virtual Instrument Panel, configurable mod lighting, an upgraded alarm and auto headlights an external mirrors.
