Head of MINI design, Anders Warming has unveiled ‘MINI Vision’ a glimpse into the future for the BMW-owned brand presented in a virtual 3D hologram.
As we can see, the wing, bonnet scoop and large wheels of the rendering point to a probable JCW sports version.
And it looks like future MINI designs include a more curvaceous look than the previous generations.
Major changes for the front-end with a revised front grille which, although true to the original, incorporates the bumper and fog-lights. Headlights are full LED with an outer ring of light which are the daytime DRLs.
The rear-end shows a more muscular look while the side includes interesting air intakes and outlets around each aerodynamic wheel and the exterior mirrors also adopt and aero design.
The glimpse blue-themed inside shows-off the so-called ‘Driving Experience Control’ (which adopts variable colours according to the selected drive mode), a new interpretation of classic MINI dashboard and instruments, a new-design steering wheel and fabric straps on the inner doors which are arranged in the shape of the British Union Jack flag.
A standout is the ‘Glamorous Gold’ paint finish which combines with organo metal used for the body to create a different look.
